Annual Family Fee - Registration Policy

*****Annual $50 Family Membership will begin January 2025*****

To be eligible to participate in any CYAA sport you must first become a CYAA Family Member. The Family Membership fee is an annual fee of $50.00 beginning during our January sign ups. The family membership is good for a calendar year of January - December. Each Family is required to pay an annual Family Membership fee of $50 due with the first sports registration in the calendar year.

Sports fees vary and are based upon league fees, insurance, referee/umpire, uniforms, etc. Members must be current and in good financial standing in order for players to participate in sports.

What is the annual Family Membership fee used for?

The membership fees specifically contribute to the accomplishments of the CYAA by providing funds to manage the day-to-day business operations (CYAA’s mission) and support future planning and development (CYAA’s vision) of the association. Membership dues are allocated accordingly across the association in the following manner:

• 40% of your Membership Fee is for insurance for the association
• 46% goes to capital improvement (equipment, fields, maintenance)
• 14% goes to support CYAA’s internet, web site, membership mailing and supply account

Do I need to pay multiple Family Membership fees if I have more than one child?

No, you only pay the annual fee once regardless of the number of children or sports they participate in. For instance, if you have four children involved in four different sports, you still only pay $50. Similarly, if you have one child in one sport, the fee remains $50. Essentially, it's a single annual fee per family.
